MEN'S

At the Division 1 level, 23 universities have volleyball teams for men. There are 9.9 scholarships available per team to be divided among the players. A total of 227.7 scholarships are offered in Division 1 volleyball for men.

At the Division 2 level, 15 universities have volleyball teams for men. There are 4.5 scholarships available per team to be divided among the players. A total of 67.5 scholarships are offered in Division 2 volleyball for men.

WOMEN'S

At the Division 1 level, 312 universities have volleyball teams for women. There are 12 scholarships available per team to be divided among the players. A total of 3,744 scholarships are offered in Division 1 volleyball for women.

At the Division 2 level, 260 universities have volleyball teams for women. There are 8 scholarships available per team to be divided among the players. A total of 2,080 scholarships are offered in Division 2 volleyball for women.

MEN/ WOMEN

Each volleyball team has an average of 12 players. Scholarships are divided among the 12 players based on the coach’s preference. Male athletes will receive a full or partial athletic scholarship. Women athletes will receive a full scholarship. Some players choose to compete without a scholarship.
